Founded by the late Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong , a Republic of China born was the fifth of his siblings. From a vegetable farmer, he is now known as the 3rd most richest entrepeneur in Malaysia which earn an estimated of 4.1billion USD with millions of visitors per year. He passed away in 2007. With multiple travel awards, Genting Highlands which is located in Pahang and is about 1860m above sea level is a world-class getaway destination for everyone around the globe.
GETTING THERE
It only takes about 1 hour drive from Kuala Lumpur to get there. Visitors can either go up by cable car which is situated in the middle of the journey up, a shuttle service or by car.

THEME PARK
The theme park is divided into 2 parts which is the indoor and the outdoor. The operating time usually starts as early as 8 a.m and ends at 7 p.m on a normal day and 10 p.m or more on a school holiday.
OUTDOOR PARK

A waterproof wrist band will be given to each visitor to enable him or her to enter and leave the park at anytime during operation hours. Each time you want to enter the outdoor park, you just need to pass through the checking point and show your wrist band.

Indoor park is like an open air market. Everyone can enter this area unlike the outdoor park. The indoor park also gives the visitor a waterproof wrist band. When he or she wants to play a game e.g: the Ferris Wheel, then he or she needs to show the person at the Ferris wheel the wrist band before entering the Ferris Wheel.
CASINO
Roulette, Black Jack, Baccarat, you name it..This is the only casino that is available in Malaysia. With a total of 3000 gaming machines and 500 poker tables, this is the best casino in Asia.
